They changed it, had singles matches. From what i hear both ended in no contest.
either way, it sucks.
I want Punk on all shows, much more so than DX.
And DX are doing NOTHING for the Tag titles.
I hear Layla dressed up as a Pig to continue the PG rated school yard crap with McCool and Mickie.
dont think ill both watching tomorrow night

Actually, the show was stellar. I like the war of words between DX and sXe Socitey. Why not have them talk some smack and make the match more interesting than just having them wrestle out of the blue?
A byproduct of that was HBK vs. Mysterio, which was great. I would love the irony if HBK won the Rumble and Mysterio upset 'Taker. That would be one hot main event. The whole feud could be HBK disrespecting Mysterio and trying to get him to lose the title back to 'Taker. I don't see them going this direction, but it could be an intriguing feud if done properly.
HHH vs. Punk wasn't bad, either. They had decent chemistry, and it went a long way to helping get sXe Society over. It helps them look like a threatening group to attack a 13-time champ and do it convincingly. I'm really interested to see what happens with Serena. Also, Punk and HHH had a decent war of words to open the show (back to my first point).
Morrison vs. McIntyre was great, too. SmackDown is the show where the IC Title can regain its former glory. Talented, young wrestlers fighting for the gold is a good thing.
The HHH/Batista interaction was done well. It's the polar opposite of their feud 5 years ago because now Batista is the tough bully who backs down while HHH is the face people are getting behind. I'm beginning to like HHH. He seems to be moving past the lame, redundant DX stuff and is appearing way more interesting.
Like Striker I was laughing a bit at the McCool/Layla stuff. Sure it isn't an epic angle, but it generates interest in the Women's Title. Not a bad thing. They just need to use the Glamazon more.
