SPOILERS (If you have not seen this weeks Monday Night Raw, and don't want to know what happened, DO NOT READ)
Edge came out and talked about Chris Jericho and about winning the Royal Rumble Match and about who he will face. Made a good point that going to face someone who has never lost at WM is a bad idea while facing someone who has never been in a WM seems to be pretty smart. Said he's going to wait until after the Elimination Chamber PPV to make a decision. Sheamus came out and the two of them were pretty good back and forth on the microphone....Sheamus says "a lot has changed since you went out with an injury"....Edge replies with "yeah, a jacked up Ronald McDonald is running around with a title now"....that was pretty funny. They brawl a little....Edge spears Sheamus....pretty cool opening to Raw.
All the matches are Elimination Chamber qualifying matches....
John Cena defeats Cody Rhodes
HHH defeats Jack Swagger
Randy Orton defeats HBK - I'm not sure where they are going with this storyline....HBK on a losing streak? Seems pretty shitty to me. He's acting all dark and depressed....I don't like it....if you want him to be a heel, let him be a heel....don't make him look like a cry baby. I hate this new attitude of his. Hopefully it will all turn around and work out for the best.
Ted DeBiase defeats Mark Henry - I know this whole thing is being set up so Ted can pin Orton in the Chamber....then these two can go to WM and face one another....most likely, something else will happen and it will be a triple threat with Cody Rhodes as well....but adding him to the Elimination Chamber....just for a storyline fall....seems lame.
Kofi defeats Big Show - ONLY BECAUSE BIG SHOW is DQ'd for accidentally hitting the referee in the face....but, Big Show did it because Kofi accidentally poked Big Show in the eye....he swung for Kofi, but accidentally hit the referee, and gets DQ'd....Big Show throws a fit, claiming that it was an accident....starts screaming "I didn't mean it, it was an accident" as he walks up the ramp and to the back. Weird ending for sure.

So the Raw Elimination Chamber is Sheamus vs. John Cena vs. HHH vs. Randy Orton vs. Ted DeBiase vs. Kofi Kingston....not a terrible Elimination Chamber....but, I honestly thought Ted should be replaced by HBK....oh well....I'm guessing the final three will be Sheamus, John Cena and HHH....only time will tell who will win....I would imagine HHH walks out with the title, and Sheamus cashes in his rematch at WM. Thats my guess....but I might change that before the PPV gets here.... BRET HART and VINCE MCMAHON.... Well well well....this is interesting....I won't lie....I was like a little kid in my livingroom seeing Bret Hart cut an edgy promo (oh man, I feel like James Lucas) (Only bustin your balls Lucas)....but Bret Hart was awesome....Vince was also awesome....when Vince made the announcement that he was not going to induct Stu Hart into the hall of fame this year because he didn't deserve it, everyone knew Bret would go after Vince....however.... Bret pulls Vince's suit coat over his head and starts punching away....Vince falls....Bret keeps punching him....Bret grabs Vince by the legs, accidentally pulls off Vince's shoe.....Bret throws it at Vince (awesome addition)....Bret is about to lock in the sharpshooter when BATISTA (where in the fuck did he come from?) slides in, pulls Brets leather jacket over his head and starts punching him until Vince can get up....Vince gets up, and has a legitimate red swollen spot on the side of his head....AWESOME! I'm pumped....I'm on the edge of my seat....Vince has Batista hold him....Vince starts screaming at him....asking him if he knows who he is....then, Vince spits in Brets face ! ! ! ! AWESOME! The fans want to rip Vince's head off right now....it's incredible WWE TV....While all this is taking place, the fans are chanting "CENA-CENA-CENA".... WHICH MEANS.... Like I predicted....Wrestle Mania....John Cena vs. Batista, YOU WATCH....Vince is in Batistas corner while Bret Hart is in John Cenas corner....Bret won't wrestle....but you know he'll have a moment where he attacks Vince....it'll be awesome for sure. Not to mention, if done right, face Cena vs. heel Batista could be pretty decent....will it be out of this world incredible? No....but, it will be a lot better than their first bullshit feud. All in all, I was happy with Raw. Next week....DX vs. Punk and Gallows vs. Miz and Big Show....I'm calling it now....DX loses the titles, adding to HBK being on his losing streak.

I watched the show on fast play, save for the Edge promo and Hart/Vince promo.
Im so sick of Raw matches right now.
Why bother putting Swagger and Rhodes in the matches? As if either Cena or HHH were going to lose.
I am so so bored of the product, TNA are making stupid mistakes but at least it is kinda intertesting to see what is going to happen next.
Fact is, the younger, fresher, interesting, future of the WWE talent are currently being used to 'put over' the older, duller, boring, past of the WWE over and it is making me sick.
Timbo, i gotta disagree with you, HBK should not be in place of Dibiase! At least he and Kofi are in a 'main event' spot...thats something.
Regards Shamus/Edge. Sure Edge is a 'face' (although people still wanted to boo him) and sure he has just returned, but Bill is right, Shamus has been booked poorly and now he gets his arse handed to him straight away by Edge? I didn't like it. Shamus did good in the promo and should have left Edge laying. Nice of Edge (maybe under Vinces instructions) not to even mention 'ECW World Champion' Christian as an option...that would have gotten a pop and Vince wouldn't like that!
Bret/Vince. This was good, both were good. It sucks that what Bret says is true though, Vince shows little concern for the people that work for him. I know they choose to, but it is a dangerous job and Vince should care more, but thats another debate. I also assumed Cena/Batista would be at WM, a Raw/SD affair. Did not pick them to wrestle for Bret/Vince but im happy with it if it is the case. I DO NOT want to see bret wrestle. Firstly, it would taint my memories, he has nothing to prove. Secondly it would make me feel he is a bit of a hypocrite and thirdly, surely he got paid out for his 'career ending injury', how could he legally wrestle/earn money? Im glad Cena did not come out, do not want to give away too much too soon.
Overall, aside from seeing Bret again, im not that into Raw.
If DX drop the belts next week then great, but they are not doing it to help push anyone else, they would be doing it to leave them free to take over WM in the main events.
I do not want to see Miz take the tag belts, i want him and MVP to be allowed to push their US title feud as far as it will go.

I think Shaemus could be real good. But, I don't want to see him headline WM. I'm sure that HHH or Orton with the title at the chamber and Edge faces them. sucks he's gonna be a RAW guy now. I like Smackdown and they could use Edge a lot more than RAW. Do they care about the brand seperation? they ALWAYS have peeps jumping around
I thought RAW and the Rumble were pretty good. I was happy to see DiBiase get put in the chamber. Same with Kofi. I know what Kofi can do but, I want to see what DiBiase can do and this will be a shining time for him...if they do it right. Orton vs DiBiase at WM. So Edge vs HHH? I dunno
But, I feel safe in saying Shaemus will NOT be the champion after the Chamber.
And look for DX to lose the tag titles, they are probably tired of all the travel to be on RAW then to the SD tapings. I hope hope hope that Punk and Gallows get them! I'm a punk fan! I just bought his new action figure lol it has a removable CM Punk tshirt. I don't EVER take any out of the box though.
A little off on that one. But, we know who WONT win the chamber: Dibiase, Kofi, Cena....So, Shamus or HHH! I gotta go with HHH.

Hang on, I think everyone took what I meant wrong....let me break it down a little....
If the Chamber was going to be WWE'S "Top Stars"....I would have liked to see Sheamus, Cena, HHH, Orton, HBK, and maybe Big Show......
If they were going to give younger guys a chance to shine....
Shaemus vs. Orton vs. DiBiase vs. Kofi vs. Swagger vs. MVP(or someone else).....that would have been an awesome, fresh chamber match....
Adding a young fresh guy like DiBiase, when all you're going to do is have him pin Orton, and then get taken right out, seems pointless to me....yeah, you're "giving him a chance"....but they're really not....they're just using him to take the fall....if the Chamber was all young guys like I listed....everyone would watch, seriously having no idea who would win....that would be cool....same with if it were all the "Big Stars"....no one would be sure who was going to win, and it would make it entertaining....
As for DX losing the titles, I'm alright with it....I hope Punk and Gallows win it too....they deserve it a run with it....
And HBK....HHH....hell, even Cena....if they would change their gimmicks....I wouldn't mind seeing them with a push....have HBK snap and super kick everyone....have him turn back into the cocky "I don't need anyone on my side, I'm the show stopper"....then give him the title....have him be a dominant heel champion....that would be awesome....have Cena try to stop him, but FAIL....have HHH try to stop him....BUT FAIL.....have Edge try to stop him....BUT FAIL....and then, have Kofi try....AND WIN! You've made a solid heel champion....you've given HBK another title run....and, made a new star and gave Kofi a chance to shine....that would be cool.
Same with HHH....if they turned him into a heel....I would be alright with a huge push....but his face gimmick has gotten old....and Cena....well, if you turned Cena back into the rapping, disrespecting Cena....I would actually enjoy him again.
Anyways, I need to go to college....I've written enough about the WWE. I agree with Luke that it gets pretty boring watching matches because you know Swagger will never beat HHH....you know these things and it sucks....I actually though during the match "wow, if they let Swagger beat HHH, you've got an instant feud. Swagger could gloat about pinning HHH, and claim that HHH doesn't have "it" anymore....they fight again, and Swagger beats him again.....Swagger still gloats about it....finally, in the last match, HHH steps up his "game" and beats him....classic. Buuuuuut no....some things will never change in the WWE....hopefully after Vince steps down, whoever takes over will give younger stars a chance to shine.

I can see a HBK heel turn...it's so close...DO IT, VINCE! Bird, you're walking on thin ice with that comment, buddy. This is not how HBK's career needs to end, friend. The fact that he only has 4 world title reigns (0 since 2002), yet 4-5 wrestlers have more reigns in the past 8 years than HBK has had in his career, is pathetic, guy.
While I agree that new stars need to be made, you can't try to make them all at the same time. What they need to do is use the midcard titles like they were back in the day (kind of like the IC Title is being used on Smackdown). After solid feuds for the IC Title back in the day, some guys looked like main eventers (Hart, HBK, HHH, the Rock, Austin, etc.). Guys don't have to be tossed into main events to be built up.
I hate the Elimination Chamber PPV. Does the Rumble mean nothing? It used to be that if you lost out at the Rumble, you were fucked in terms of title matches. Now, it's just the first of many. Lose the Rumble? It's okay, you can make the Elimination Chamber. Lost in the Chamber? It's okay, Money in the Bank's a month away. With all these title shots thrown about, how do we not have more stars right now?

why are world title reigns deemed so important in the case of HBK? he legacy is set in stone, his impact on the industry is set in stone, he is possibly the greatest star that the 90's produced in terms of current status and show stealing perfromances.
world titles right now mean very little, the very fact that so many guys have held more belts than him in a shorter amount of time basically enforces the fact that he should not be included in that lump.
the only reason for HBK to have title now at this stage in his career would be to pass it onto a new star, that i could understand and see the logic involved.
but with his reduced schedule and annual post-WM break from duty i can not see it working.
the Undertaker is a fine example of a guy who has had a small number of title reigns over his career, and a prime example of why putting a belt on someone like that does not do anyone any favours.

The legacy of Michaels doesn't rate compared to Austin, The Rock, Foley, Undertaker or his pal Triple H. Let's not forget he was a willing participant in the Montreal Screwjob. He will never get a break from me for that debacle (particularly the disrespectful bullshit in the aftermath), it said a lot about his character... or lack thereof.
And on the note of his work during the 90's - he was almost as bad backstage as Triple H is now. An arrogant fucktard with a major sense of entitlement, screwing others over because god forbid he had to put somebody over and lay off on the power-trip.
Of today's new crop, I would push Kofi and DiBiase first. I am not a fan of the way that Shamus has been handled in all honesty.

When the incident happened is immaterial. That saga has reserved Michaels a permanent place on my wrestling shit-list.
