Hey guys, the big game's not far away now. Who have you got? I'll be cheering on the New Orleans Saints, hoping that Brees and the lads can deliver the people of that region some joy. They've come a long way since the paper bag-wearing era. How to optimise your Super Bowl viewing experience:

I will be enjoying the Super Bowl sober this year....two reasons....the first is that tomorrow, I have a huge test in General Psych....I need to study after the Super Bowl, so no drinking....the second reason....
I GOT FUCKING HAMMERED LAST NIGHT....drank WAY too much....and am extremely hung over right now!

New Orleans Saints vs. Indianapolis Colts
Anyone who knows me knows I'm pulling for the Saints, and I think they have a very good chance to win. The Colts' defense looks prime to be picked apart by Brees with Freeney being limited in what he can do. That cripples Indy's pass rush, and, if given enough time, Brees will find someone open. Powers is also recovering from knee surgery and any CB with leg issues needs to be targeted. 4 WR sets could really expose Indy's lack of depth in the secondary. Lance Moore appears to be completely healthy, and that gives us insane depth at WR. He could see a lot of passes on 3rd down.
The Saints need to establish Pierre Thomas right off the bat, and he needs to be on. I'm hoping he gets 13-17 carries and wears down that Colts' D-line. I don't know why Bell didn't see action against the Vikings, but I hope he's well. He's our bruiser. Bush needs to be as intense as he was for the Cardinals' game. He'll likely see 5 carries, 5 receptions, and 3-4 punt returns. Needs to make them count.
Our offense will be our best defense against Manning. We have to constantly put points on the board and convert on 3rd downs. The Jets and Ravens didn't and gave Manning as many opportunities as he needed to score. Give him almost unlimited chances, and he'll find a way. I hope Williams doesn't get too blitz-happy (esp. on 3rd downs). Peyton makes over aggressive defense pay. Williams needs to pick his shots and make them count.
Should be a great game, and I can't wait to watch!

I bet the 4th quarter gets awful fuzzy.

That game was pretty good. Not the most amazing game ever, but still pretty good. I was glad to see the Saints win. They deserved it. I was cheering for them all night. Now though, we're past this year of football, so it's back to the G-Men, and hoping they fix their huge pile of shit called a team
