"At this moment in time, the WWE has no plans on giving Matt Hardy his requested release. The feeling is that his actions over the past month have not reflected well within the company enough to grant him a release. This means he has to wait until he either becomes a liability to the company, which is rare, or his contract is up. The company does not want to be seen as rewarding this type of behaviour."
The company is actually doing the right thing here. If they release him, they green light anyone uphappy with their role to act like a jackass just so they can be released, means no 90-day noncompete clause, they can just go straight to TNA, which is what he wants.

same, im done with the guy.
we can all say the WWE has held him back, bit come on, he has been there a long long time and if he had promise he would have found a decent spot by now.
personally he should have remained heel and pushed with the V1 character.

ive hated him for a long time. i agree that he "could" have done something, but guess what, he didnt. i like tna when i get to see it, but in tna theyre just going to have him team with jeff for a while. then what? he'll be in the same spot as he is now. will tna have them break up like the wwe did? have matt turn heel like he has done in the wwe twice? stupid. thats my opinion.

I saw my first video of his yesterday afternoon. I did not care one shred of a being until one of my friends told me to watch one that she linked me to. He ranted for 9 minutes and ate grapes. He explained that he had been diagnosed with D.I.D., which is dissociative identity disorder- which means he's suffering multiple personality disorder. I believe that as much as I believe John Cena can survive being thrown through a spot light and not have a scratch on him.
I think this is selfish. He's trying to get a pity parade so everyone can feel bad for him that he's lost almost 50 lbs since having intestine surgery last year. He wants people to go to WWE shows and chant "WE WANT MATT" or "DIE MATT DIE". But what he needs to actually understand is that if people wanted to see him, those chants would already happen. No one cares. This isn't the same as when Lita left him. This is because he's in his mid 30s, and he has his plateau as a wrestler. The company sees it. He needs to admit it. He's the Marty Jannetty to his brothers Shawn Michaels. That's all he ever was.
One of the best things in this video I watched is when he threatened to bring back OMEGA. OH MY GOD NOT OMEGA!!!! Shannon Moore, Shane Helms, and Matt Hardy running wild again! OH GAWD!! I'm sure WWE is shaking in their boots. Actually, Shannon Moore probably makes ten times more in TNA than he would for OMEGA, therefor, he'd most likely stay in Orlando. Pro Guerrilla Wrestling out in San Diego is more of a threat to the WWE than an OMEGA reunion.
This is absolutely absurd. If I were the WWE I'd shut down his Twitter and his Youtube accounts because he's under contract, but not fire him for breach of contract. Just fuck with him. Make him sit there on the sideline and rot away, bored. I think he has three or four more years of his contract left. If he couldn't post on Youtube or Twitter, and wasn't being used I think he'd blow a fuse because he's such an egomaniac. And I don't mean that nicely.
In closing, back to something I already touched on, if the fans wanted to see him- they'd let the company know. Mickie James and Bryan Danielson were called upon a lot for a return, and Danielson was living a worked shoot and Mickie left for other reasons (I have connections to her almost directly, I know someone who's in contact with her every day via text and email. I know why she left.) Neither asked the fans for support. The ancient Greeks had a saying. "It isn't what people think of you when you are here, but what they think of you when you are gone"..They said that saying ones name three times after their death would grant immortality because even if you die, if people know who you were- you will always be remembered. If not, your life and what you did- meant nothing. It's a shadowy belief, but in reflection of hearing this ten years ago in middle school I do believe it to be true. How this affects Matt Hardy? He will never be a legend. Once his time is gone and no one passes on his legacy, no one at least in the wrestling community, will remember him.

What's Hardy actually doing?
Also, I hate the comparison of the Hardyz to the Rockers. The Hardyz were a way better tag team, but even if Matt is Marty, Jeff never came close to Shawn.

To compare the Hardyz to the Rockers, they are both Marty Jannety

AJ, Matt is sitting on YouTube posting videos and acting psychotic. He just rants. In the one I saw he sometimes laughs randomly. He said one of his personalities is named Matthew, and the other is Matt (Quote: "The same Matt Hardy everyone knows"). It's beyond the range of acceptable for a mid 30 year old washed up multi-millionaire to be so involved in this petty shit simply because he wants out of his contract. He asks people if it's a work or a shoot. Obviously it's his own side project work. And it's dumb as hell.

Maybe Matt's taking it on his own to generate some buzz since the creative team has done him no favors over the past few years.

These videos lack the one thing that all his pushes do.
True charisma.
He just doesn't have it. You can't learn to be compelling without taking serious acting classes. It doesn't just turn on. The videos suffer because of it. He can try and try and try all he wants. What made Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho so successful? They were charismatic. It didn't matter how passionate they were, or how good they could wrestle. Both were good at that. But they put on the complete show. Matt Hardy just can't get over that hump. You need both qualities to be a good sports entertainer. You need to be a character, as much as a "good" wrestler (and he's not even particularly good at that)
